Authentic Bison Hunting

Robert researched bison hunts for 8 years, looking for the most authentic buffalo hunting experience in the world. "That’s how I found you. You have more positive comments and stories of satisfied customers than anybody. I called several of your past clients and they all said you were the only guy to go with and that you'd back up everything you said." We spotted this gigantic SUPER TROPHY BULL from just over a mile and a half away. We snuck to about 200 when Robert opened fire. He did some good shooting putting the bull down DRT. Great job Robert. This dude has stunning color. Robert's friend Allen came along as his free plus-one. Call me for the best bison hunting experience in the world.

Rich and his family did a road trip from WI to hunt SD bison with JRGS. I was proud to host such a wonderful family. We had a thrilling day on the prairie. After driving around on a big ranch for three hours, we finally spotted our first buffalo. (It's a big ranch!) Rich and I walked across -20 windchilled prairie for a half-mile to get the jump on this extremely old TROPHY BULL. The stalk put us within 45 yards where we came up on the bedded bull with another trophy bull. We busted the biggest one with a flurry of 10 shots on flopping buffalo. None of the shots offered were very good angles but that's all we had to work with. Rich handled the dilemma perfectly. It was exhilarating.

Father/son TROPHY BULL hunt!!! Aiden shot an awesome buffalo. Brian brought his son Aiden to SD from KS with TROPHY BULL buffalo on their minds. It was a superb stalk on the huge prairie roamer and great shooting. I love to take kids hunting! When their dads bring them, it creates a fantastic experience both will remember for their whole lives! Great job handling your weapon Aiden! Great job being a great dad Brian!

KILL SHOT: If you are interested in booking a hunt and you'd like to see the one minute video of the kill, send me your email address and I'll send it. It is a bit gruesome but when you hunt big buffalo on BIG COUNTRY, the result is not like the staged hunt videos you see of "hunters" walking or driving around in a pen of buffalo, that are fully aware of their presence. Those hunts are pretty pathetic with the animal clearly looking at the hunter with no concern or desire to get away. That is NOT the kind of bison hunting experience we deliver at JRGS! It's pretty awesome.
