Awesome Prairie Dog Hunting Numbers
Big rains didn't slow us down. Nobody in the world can dodge rain for prairie dog hunters like I can. On this day, almost all prairie dog hunters were out of business...but not mine! I have prairie dog towns spread out over 100 miles to allow me to keep my hunters shooting. That is a big deal when you travel half-way across the country to have a great time. Just ask my customers.

Repeat clients Wes and Matt brought new customer Trevor for some fun on the prairie. They had a blast. The brought me some good eats locally made from their part of the country...that's always fun. This day was one for the brochure: sometimes Mother Nature throws you a softball. The prairie dogs just didn't seem to know we were shooting at them. I've no idea how many dogs died this day but it was a LOT. Team WI are great shooters and fun guys to have on the prairie.

There is a lot of stories about how easy it is to set up a prairie dog hunt on the cheap and get trespass permission from ranchers that have good hunting. This pipe dream causes a lot of good people to waste time and money only to be disappointed. If you think you can do it, go for it! I’m not trying to kill anybody's dream.

You have to wrap your head around the fact that a prairie dog hunt is going to cost you a few dollars. But not much. Once you do that, be ready for an absolute spectacular time!
