Bison...
When you look at a bison, the first thing you notice is the extraordinarily huge head and massive hump. A Super Trophy Bull like this one of Rick's is 30% heavier than Cape buffalo or water buffalo! Most people don't know that. You can't see it here, but they also have a huge beard and a LOT of long hair. The bison hair density is about 20,000 hairs per square inch compared to buffalo with only 1,000 per square inch! Bison hide over the back of their head is over one and a half inches thick, thicker than the buffalo. Bison can endure much colder temps reaching -50 below and worse. Bison are bigger, faster and stronger. Bison can run over 45 mph...incredible. And when you hunt them on big country like I do, they are wary, unpredictable and tough.

The BUFFALO HUNTS have been going excellent. Hunters have been having a thrilling experience that can’t be enjoyed hunting with somebody who just takes you out in a side-by-side to plink an animal out of a herd or walks you into a feedlot to just shoot one in the ear. Granted, you still get a head/hide/meat, but that experience is more like shooting instead of a hunting!
