Father/son hunts are the bomb!
Have you taken your kid hunting lately? As we were sneaking the final few yards, I heard the father say to the son “I’m glad you’re here.” That’s as special as it gets! Ben and son Abel tag-teamed this huge SUPER TROPHY BULL. Admire the width of the horns on this bad-boy. They are absolutely incredible. Ben spotted this giant wondering the prairie. A quick mile long stalk put us within 150 yards. That’s as good as it was going to get. The two WI hunters put out a barrage of lead to drop the bull cleanly. Great shooting guys.
Copper-tone SUPER TROPHY BULL
This SUPER TROPHY BULL carries a gorgeous copper-tone hair color that could be seen from over a mile away! Spectacular variances in color occur naturally, this one is incredible. Gordon bought a new 338 Lapua for his hunt and it worked great. Only 5 shots is all it took to get the job done on this huge beast. We typically get closer, but once we got to 200 yards on this SUPER TROPHY BULL, we were stymied. Luckily, Gordon had been practicing and made the shots count. Great job to you (and your brother for coming along). You're good guys to take hunting.
Wet TROPHY BULL
Gary put the kibosh on this awesome and very wet TROPHY BULL after we walked about a mile through fresh snow on an absolutely gorgeous December South Dakota day. Dressed in whites, we hunkered down perfectly still and waited completely unnoticed by this bruiser. You and your wife Paula were a joy to have in camp. Congrats on a great wife and a great buffalo!
Wild experience!
Bob asked me a lot about the stuff he’d seen in movies and on the internet about buffalo. After his first shot, this COW BUFFALO went over a mile before we got her down for good. He said "I'm the first guy to admit these buffalo are way tougher than I ever thought they could be." While it took many shots, in Bob's favor, his first shot was excellent. It would have anchored any elk, moose, deer or bear. But bison are NOT elk, moose, deer or bears! It's impossible to explain until you’ve seen their toughness and ability to absorb lead first-hand. Just ask Bob. It was a great pleasure to guide you!
"We always have fun when we go hunting with you. That’s why we keep doing it. We need this break from our jobs."
