Hunting Buffalo in the Cold
Bill and Bill from MI...
ANOTHER COLD ONE… While less hardy folks were internet surfing by the fire or hard at work, we were having FUN! Bill and I put the ninja sneak on a group of 5 bison bachelor bulls. We walked over a mile to get where we could belly crawl over a small hill to have the vertical advantage on the small herd on the open prairie. The temp was -5 F and the wind-chill was negative 18!!!! Bill put 4 excellent shots on point for a clean and ethical kill. No trophy room is complete without a big old nasty bison head on the wall! Spectacular job Bill!

Bill's pal struck first blood, then Bill was able to get to only 50 yards from this big TROPHY BULL with a little sneaking and a little hand-and-kneeing. As the hunters eased over the rise, the bison noticed at the last second. But before the herd could stampede away, the shooting started. Bill put 4 perfectly placed shots in the slab-side of this handsome bull. Great job Bill! Bill's makes TWO TROPHY BULLS in one day!

SMILING...
It's hard to tell, but there's a giant smile under all those clothes. We had sub-zero wind chills and it didn't hamper anybody’s fun at all!!! Caleb made perfectly clean work out of killing this delicious MEAT BULL with only two shots from only 40 yards! We snuck within 200 yards of the main herd, then the lead bull lead them right past our hidden location in a slough of tall switchgrass. As this guy cleared himself of the others, Caleb did a perfect job of dropping him DRT. Then the lead bull hung around to gore and stomp this bull for several minutes. "Organic tenderizing!" AWESOME POWER!
