Tara was wrangling this awesome group of hunters including Brooke, Addy, Hudson, Jim, Chuck and Aaron. They've fantastic can-do attitudes. It doesn't take a genius to see these people like to have fun. Brooke led the group with the most kills and the furthest on day one! Women always outshoot the men on day-one. Can you guess why? On day-two the guys upped their game and killed a slug of prairie dogs. It's great fun. Chuck's 563 yard dog was day-two's longest. Good shooters adapt, and these guys did in spades. Great job guys.
Testing 1-2-3
Repeat client Ben brought Adam, Brandon (owner of Silencer Central) and Sam to film and test several rifles, ammo, optics, et cetera. Some performed fantastically and some poorly. That's why you test it! That gives them valuable insight on what to tell their audience. The standout were silencers from Silencer Central. I personally ordered another suppressor for an "up to date" experience of the ATF approval period. Brandon said his company will help the process go smoothly. I'll keep you posted...Thanks for the business guys.
Easy as pie...
No long-range experience? NO WORRIES! Don’t let prairie dog hunting scare you. "Give me somebody with no experience and in an hour I'll have them shooting a lot of prairie dogs at 500-600 yards with a 223. If they come with shooting experience, it might take me a bit longer." My daughter Annie is 15 years old and often available to demonstrate. She killed several prairie dogs in less than an hour between 503 and the two in a row at 531 yards, all with an off the rack 223 and factory ammo and a Nikon scope. There's nothing like watching a young lady do well! Great shooting Annie.
Jim River Guide Service provides The Ultimate Guided Experience for everything from prairie dogs to buffalo in South Dakota.
Shooting huge numbers of prairie dogs at 500-600-700 yards and beyond with a .223 sounds almost unbelievable, doesn't it? Believe it. If you want to shoot further, 1,000 yard shots are possible although much more difficult. They are a fantastic challenge. If you like a challenge and shooting, there is nothing more fun than prairie dog hunting.
"After you've been shooting at 800 yards, when you come into 500 yards, they are easy. They're like chip-shots." Lester, IN
If you are planning a bear, moose, bison or deer hunt in the future, it makes a lot of sense to do a prairie dog hunt with me first. It is a super low-cost way to see if you like the way I do business. Because most of my business is repeat business and word of mouth business, I'm confident you'll become hugely loyal when you see the hustle, integrity, honesty and passion I have in the hunting sport. I want you to have a fantastic time.
"It's not as complicated as I thought. Just put the bullet on the prairie dog. Once Willie showed us what we were doing wrong, it all fell into place. Thanks Willie." Scott, PA
Text, email or call me today. If you have a yahoo.com or hotmail.com email address, it would be best for you to contact me by text first to get the ball rolling because some email addresses filter emails about hunting more aggressively than others. I am waiting to chat with you.
